The project aims to develop and strengthen the capacities of the indigenous people of six basin in the peruvian Amazonia, to get a sustainable management of their jungle as a base for the eradication of the causes of poverty.

<strong>Finance</strong>

The total finance of the project is two millions, seven hundred and ten thousand, seven hundred and forty four euros (€ 2 710 744) Eighty percent (80%) from the Delegation of the European Commission in Peru and the rest from organizations like Blue Moon Fund, The Garfield Foundation, Nouvelle Planète, MacArthur Foundation, and Hivos.

</p>
<p>
Seventeen thousand and four hundred eighty eight (17 488) inhabitants in 76 native communities, which included all Matsés, Iquito and Záparo people in Perú, the 94% of the Urarina people and the 80% of the Machiguenga and Kakinte people.
