<strong>Problem to be solved</strong>
</p>
<p>
This project was developed in response to an aspiration of the Matsés Native Community to protect natural resources located inside the projected Matsés Communal Reserve, considered to be a part of the ancestral territory of the Matsés. On the other side, the hope is that this project will grant safety and protection to the natural resources of the zone that are being extracted illegally while the territory remains under State ownership.
